The 7uice Foundation (founded by the Boston Celtics’ Jaylen Brown), in partnership with the MIT Media Lab, developed the Bridge Program to engage 8th-12th grade students from under-represented communities in a cutting edge, project-based curriculum to maximize community impact. 

The Bridge Program features a 6-week curriculum spanning topics in:

  • Science and Technology

  • Engineering and Art

  • Leadership and Community Engagement

  • The Bridge Program is a new learning and leadership initiative developed by the 7uice Foundation, founded by the Boston Celtics’ Jaylen Brown and his family, and the Community Biotechnology Initiative at the MIT Media Lab. The program’s mission is to help cultivate the next generation of leaders in science and technology and is designed for young people from underrepresented minority communities in 8th-12th grade.

  • Any 8th-12th Grade students in the Greater Boston Area. The Bridge Program includes in-person field trips and gatherings

  • No, both the application for and participation in the Bridge Program are completely free of charge.

  • For 2022, the Program is scheduled for July XX, 2022 to August XX, 2022. Over the course of those six weeks, there will be two virtual 90 minute sessions. In addition, there may be additional field trips offered for students and their parents after the core program has been completed.
